strictly for fun, audio track with a few Houston RocBar pics to break the monotony ..... dance mixes can be repetitive
Just Dance (house remix) Lady Gaga Video by Electronico - MySpace Video
After watching and listening to Janice Marie Johnson play bass and sing on the 1970 disco song Boogie Oogie Oogie for the past couple of days, got the urge to play some synth bass on a pop club mix.
First, needed to find a suitable vocal and then create a drum track to play on.
Found an a cappella track by a person named Gaga.
Gaga was kind (or shrewd) enough to let the world have access to the vocal track via Creative Common License.
Had fun playing SimSynth moogish bass with drums loops and voice with a very light Sytrus VSTi synth pad and some cannon hits.
It's pure slop but it only took a few hours to conceptualize, record and upload so it was low investment sloppy fun.
Yeah, the Boogie Oogie Oogie bass lick did not fit well but I manage to force some of it there anyway :0)
