That is sooooo true! When it gets to the point that no matter what you are doing, it seems different but not necessarily better or worse..., I figure it is ready to burn to disc, and abuse in a few car stereos for a while. See what ideas come to mind if any and maybe go back and play with it some time down the track.
I usually toss discs at a few mates and get some feedback off them, and sometimes, just sometimes I even follow that advice.

Hmmm.....

Might come in handy, but, in discussing it with Brandon previously, it seemed ( at least to me ) that the idea was for folks to put their finished songs in the sections designated with styles. If your style isn't listed, then put it in the general Bash section and call it a day.

Finished usually means it's totally done but around here I think the idea is that the writing aspects are solidified and the mix is presentable for dissection. Being this is an art form that we are all discussing, there is no doubt going to be quite a bit of subjectivity involved.

Just do your best. If you don't have all the parts, then you can rest assured it should be posted in the Unfinished section.

I assume you mean real deal, final mixes. This is definitely something I'll be doing soon. I've had this on the backburner for nearly three years and it will be my number one priority after Killer Home Recording is released.
