Default I'd Hate To Be You

Here's a cover I started a couple weeks ago. There's just 4 tracks to it, a VST piano, some strings, and two tracks of vocals. Any advice is appreciated!

I know this isn't really the point of this forum but... That... was... AWESOME! This is the first song I've found on here that I actually listen to, Mayday Parade is great but you did an amazing cover. Props man, I've been trying to record stuff for a couple months and now it all sounds like crap after hearing that.

Well done. Sounds good. My only complaint would be that the piano sounds mechanical like every note has the same velocity.

Yeah, I love Mayday. I listened to your ATL cover, and I like how you put it together! Thanks

Thanks Boz, and yes, I'd have to agree.. I've never been too good at adding lots of dynamacy (spelling?) to real instruments. And even if I were, I don't have a weighted keyboard at the moment so I wrote all the notes in with the same velocity and did a little bit of manual velocity editing after. I'll probably go back and do more. I'm also automating it a little because the vocals seem to drown out the piano.

Alright, I changed a few things, along with the varying velocity on the piano. Betta?
