Hey there fellas.

I'm still a little sick, but what the hell.... Here's a re-mix and master of that metalcore test.... Better now?

Tell me what do you think?

This sounds pretty badass!!

I think the toms may be like 2db too high in the mix. Also I would darken the left guitar just a tiny bit. The right guitar sounds awesome though I wouldn't touch it at all.

Good work though this mix is sounding great.

Hey there. Sorry guys for late reply. I've just have to take a couple of days-off. My batteries were almost empty.

Brian, I've use IK Multimedia's T-Racks 24 standalone app. It was something like that:

EQ: 1. --> HP at 25 Hz
2. --> /
3. --> Slightly boost (0.9 dB) at 1,3 kHz (Q button down)
4. --> Slightly boost (1.2 dB) at 2.8 kHz (Q button up)
5. --> /

Tube Comp.: Att. --> approx. 30ms
Rel. --> fast, around 100 ms
Rat. --> 2.50:1
Inp. Dr. --> - 2.8 dB
Stereo: --> + 1.0 dB

MultiBand Limiter: Rel: --> 142 ms
Overload: --> +1.3 dB
Inp.Drive: --> +1.6 dB

Output: -0.3 dB
Level: + 5.0 dB
---------------------

That's it

Cheers.

Having gtr plugged into PODxt and similar guitar processors isn't direct. But no offense, I respect your input. Everyone has his own right to tell his opinion, right?
Ok - To me any guitar that is not recorded by putting a mic in front of a cabinet is direct. I'll take the free Mp3, as long as I don't have to declare it on my tax return.
