Stamp it.. it sounds great. I't doesn't carry much bass... but I assume thats intentional. It might sound good with a full rich bass underneath.. but thats artsy fartsy speculate on my part..
Its a very cool song that comes across as polished.

Thanks Cakewalk. I think the bass may be more a result of my still getting used to our monitoring environment than anything else. Still a bit shy about really overblowing the low end.

It's getting close to where I want to hear it but I'm still learning the room, gear, what I'm doing, lol.

I would nudge the bass up .5db and bring the lead vocal down a .5db.

This is a very well organized tune.

Good job mixing the highs.

Greg, I have since messed around with the mix on this one and am still not happy. Partly because I want to hear more bass myself. I still have some work to do on all my low end stuff. I think our control room has a standing wave right around the listening position and I need to tackle it. I keep moving my head around; in close and then a few feet back to get around it, but I just need to get the room taken care of, or get over my fear of adding more low end.
I agree with your suggestions and will try to get it re-mixed this week(end).
