hello ,i just got into recordings this is my equipment: peavey xxx 40 line 6 dm4 distortion (the gold one) metal muff m audio 410 firewire sound card sm-57 mic boss eq-20 boss cs3 compressor boss noise gate ns-2 i recorded a metallica riff just to see how its works the first track was recorded with the mic aimed to the center of the speaker the second guitar track was recorded with the mic is aimed to the perimter of the speaker . i pan one track to the left ,and the other to the right for each track i use eq vst for frequency speartion i used only the line 6 distortion and the noise gate one of the problems is that in the room i feel the bass realy strong ,but in the recording its sometimes fine and somtimes its very loud. but if i decrease the bass on the pedal ,it dont sound good when im palm muting . sould i use any of my other pedals to solve that? maybe its the acoustics of my room ? sorry for my english mistakes.. kobi what can i do to get better resolts?
