Thanks for everyone's suggestions on this, I have put some of them into this new mix, but I'm still not 100% happy with it...Anyway, please have a listen & tell me what you think.

I just plain like the song. Not even gonna listen to it from an engineer's point of view for a while.

Reminds me of the Stones and maybe Jeff Healey jamming together.

Great songwriting bud.

Hey - nice!

Guitar at the beginning is v. cool. My only comment would be to bring the vocals up a bit.

The acoustic guitar springs out nicely at the end when the rest of the instruments drop out - what are you recording that through?

the song is cool..just bring the vocals up and give the acoustic guitar more presence..and maybe turn down a bit the drums

Thanks for the compliments - The acoustics are a Maton (the strummier one) & a Martin (the fingerpicky one). Originally I recorded each guitar on 3 tracks
(6 tracks total)...One with a Samson large diaphram condenser mic (probably the cheapest in thier range - I forget the model). The other tracks were direct inputs from the onboard peizo pickup on each guitar & a soundhole pickup (again I forget the model). However, I ended up ditching the soundhole pickup tracks as they were far too electric sounding & mid-rangey. I intended on mixing & panning the mic & the peizo tracks on each guitar, but then discovered I had somehow deleted the peizo track from the Martin. Anyhow...I just recorded them directly into my M-Audio Project Mix... and that's pretty much it.

im doing this review with out looking at what others say, to keep it from being bias...so i might repeat others
things seem a little far aoart in the begining. like panned too much to the left and right
hats could probably be turned down a little bit...i would put a little bit more mids on the guitar...but not much...maybe .25 db...maybe a tad more bass overall

i like the song as a whole

I just want to say, this site is excellent for helping with mixes - Thank you to everyone who took the time to listen to this mix - it's been a HUGE help! Ok, so here's my final mix (I hope). I think I've got it right now, thanks to you all, but you may beg to differ... Please take a listen

As a steadfast listener first off, sweet tune.
Now to the part we really care about:
The vocals. More mids please! Bring it out some so I can hear what is being said without loosing any of that sweet, sweet guitar!
Kick drum? Can I get a little more ommf please? Also maybe tone down the 2k on the snare a bit? When I hear music like this it's more pleasing to my ears for the snare to be a bit flat...perhaps that is just me?
Hmmm...other than that I've got nothing but kudos! Great song, I really like it. One of the best I've heard on here for a while.
