 first trial
Hi everybody! I recorded and tried to mix my favorite Tom Waits song. I would not say that I did not like the process, but the result is awful. What should I change (besides my playing and singing skills)? mp3 128kbps I want the vocal not so up front, little bit softer and also some sort of audible harp. Any comments are welcome. (Firebox interface to Cubase LE, vocal mic is t.bone SC400, acoustic guitar and harp via ME-8 guitar processor, green bullet harp mic) Last edited by shure_1302; 07-10-2007 at 10:35 PM.  |

What equipment do you have, and what software to record to and mix with?

I really like the way the vocals are recorded!  Old-school!The guitar is terrible in my opinion. Too much gain. About bringing the vocals to the back, just adjust their level lower. Hope it helps. |
