That sounds great man.

I really like your version of this. It almost sounds like it'd be appropriate for a broadway version of the story. Nice work man!

Btw, I love Glen Hansard's music. The things he does with his voice and, typically, an acoustic guitar is quite magical.

May I ask how you recorded this in some in-depth detail? I'm blown away. Again, great job dude!

If you don't mind, break it all down. Did you write it, sing it, play it, engineer it, etc? If so, I'd be interested in how you ended up with this as the result. Be as detailed or as not-so-detailed as you wish...I know how these questions can be, so, don't stress it. If you really wanted to, you could just as well say "sorry dude, it's a secret." Either way, nice job!

Haha, does it sound like it was complicated to make? This was actually one of my more simple arrangements. A lot of the tracks I was doing had 50+ tracks, so I decided to finally simplify things and made this track on a whim.

I took the sheet music and arranged it to my liking and added additional instruments. I used EastWest Symphonic Orchestra. For the vocal tracking, I just used one track for the main vocal and recorded over the parts I didn't like (I used to record at least 5 - 6 takes on seperate tracks but ended up confused on which one to use haha so I thought I'd do a more simple approach on this one). I made up the harmonies on the spot.

I guess that's basicaly it lol, took me about a day to finish.

P.S. How's the diction? Someone commented on not being able to understand some of the words in the beginning.

Not at all...I was just really curious on your approach, method, gear/software. Thanks for that!
