Now that I have introduced myself as new member, I guess it time for my first bashing. This is a song I wrote for my wife. I am using a drum loop and a MIDI bass. The rest is several guitars that I layered along with my vocals. It is fairly representative of my recording capability at this point. Any feedback and/or advice on how to clean it up would be great. I await the gauntlet.

This is a very happy and clean recording.This like a 60's production but a better recording.Great vocals and musicianship.I would bring up the drums just a little to fill it out more.Nice choice of reverb on this one.This could be a movie soundtrack song.I like the guitars they are layered very well.Overall this is a nice tune and a very good recording how can ya bash this I mean It's written for his wife,nuff said. Great Job!

The music struck me as kind of Jimmy Buffett sounding, while the vocals sound like Jerry Jeff Walker. You're a very good guitar player, but the vocal is emotionally restrained. I think this is a problem we all have, just have to put it all out there. If you're like me, you compromise between emoting and staying on pitch. In other words, it's tough to sing your heart out without getting off-key. Just gotta work on it.

Thank you. "Emotionally restrained" That's perfect, spot on. And much more eloquent than emotionally terrified! It is a critical area for me and, well, you should have heard me a few years ago… It is nice, and quite rare, where a person can receive objective and considerate feedback rolled into one. Thank you.

Excellent, Someone actually submitted a SONG! lol. Nice!! a tiny pinch up on the drums wouldnt hurt, I really like the clear vocals. Great mixing and playing and WRITING. Slow grooves are hard but you nailed it without dragging. This is in the top 3 I've heard, out of about 30. I loved it! Print it! Play it! Sell it! Fabulous!
