Here is one of my first recordings in my new studio Sterling Sound Studios All the instruments are real exept for the piano. That was my korg triton. The production was all me.I tried to showcase the vocalist and not overshadow him with a over the top Nashville production.I will post some of my more recent projects soon.I played the bass, mandolin and some of the guitars on this track. This is a re recorded version In Pro tools.01 - Track 1.mp3

This is an excellent recording. Everything sounds clear & audible. I'm certainly no expert on (or fan of) this type of music, but I think the only things I would change are - re-record a real live acoustic piano track (because it is such a featured part of the mix). I know it's probably not so suitable for this genre, but I think the drums could sound "bigger". Probably just my rock preference showing through...all the same, I don't think this sound is that far removed from a commercial "rock" (ballad) recording.
