Default CASTLEVANIA - Vampire Killer

Anyways here's another video game song, about 50% of this one is original though... I had to fill up some time.

Let me know your opinions! Thanks

I dont play vidieo games, but that sounds pretty cool! I love the pans with the cymbal crashes and such. I love when music kinda keeps sneaking up on you from different directions. Very Cool!

What an awesome piece of music! Great playing - particularly the guitar. What sort of equipment, instrumentation etc. are you using? The only thing I would say is that the higher frequency elements in the song seem hyped & a little over-bearing. Otherwise...great job!

hey grad. i havent started listening yet coz my connection is a little slow right now. but im assuming that this is gonna another one of those KILLER tracks of yours!!! yeah!!!

ok... now im listening and im bein blown off my chair again.... this sounds great grad.
are the keys virtual or do you have the hardware for this?? nice bell strike. whered you get that sample?? reminds me of unforgiven. this track rocks. i cant really critic on the mix coz one of my speakers had blown off yesterday.. i over pumped the volume and this is where it got me... no subs on the left, only mids and high's. but as my sound system is, it still sounds good to me. i do have a suggestion with the song itself. why dont you try replacing the keys with a stacatto style lead guitar at the 1:00 prechorus. just like the lead guitar playing style on the bridge of "live and let die" by gnr.no notes to be changed. just the instrument. and it would be awesome if you do the same every time that part comes. just a suggestion. this is my favorite castle vania track by the way. i used to listen to this on my NES when i was still in third grade. i just let simon belmont stay in a safe palce just so i could listen to this looping track.hehehe. nice job. fill me in on my queries if you have some time!!! nice job!!! i'll definitely let my gamer friends listen to this one.

WOW! this shit is F#*@ing awsome!
i love the "in your face mix" its got alot of energy to it!
I personaly think the keys are to overwhelming (to loud)
is the keys propellerhead Reason?
the keys in the mortal kombat song sounds beter to me. it doesnt overwhelm the drums and guitar.
this brings back alot of NES memories from 10 years back!!!! i actualy still have my NES!
you just motivated me to go plug it in and play away!

I did CASTLEVANIA - Bloody tears a few months back! but it doesnt sound as good as your mixes (Im no Professional)! but ill post it later today!

Keep up the good work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yea, the keys are from Reason. Good guess! I think you're right that they may be too loud... moreso in some parts than in others, so I can't just go back and turn the whole bus down. I'll have to do some automation. It's hard to get it right on headphones... some frequencies jump out more than others

I'm glad you pointed out the "in your face" mix though- that's really what I was going for so that means I succeeded there

I still wanna hear the bloody tears Heinrich so get that posted !!!

Another excellent job Grad...

What are you using for your guitar tone? It's really nice.. is it DI or mic'd amps?
