    Default Blood Mother Mountain 3

Here is the final song from that demo I am putting up for bashing. It was recorded during the same sessions and I tried to brighten up and thicken the guitars but it was hard to work with what they had. The sound the band was making was a little bit thin and super fuzzy, but it was what they wanted and even though they really didn't know what they wanted, I figured as my first commissioned recording in my studio, I better just give them what they want. And well they were happy as shit.

I tried to add more depth and Presence to the drums during the slower parts, but they thought they weren't dry enough, so well I had to stick with this mix and I had to fight for that. As far as the vocals, well most of those were done on the same two day stint, so if you didn't like them on the other two songs, well you won't like them hear either. I just wanted to share the last of the good songs I thought they recorded. The other two on the disc were pretty crappy if you ask me. Some kind of weird rhythm to them.

Thanks for all the input and listening. I can't wait to record some of my own songs now.

It's not my first time around the bases, but it's the first time in which I thought I had the gear, experience and time that I thought I could actually charge for it. In the past I have done many recordings for free, or for REALLY cheap. I once did a full album, which didn't sound as good as this, for $100. The band was young and they played punk music, the talentless always stray towards punk at first, and it was TERRIBLE. I mean so bad that I couldn't keep them in time, I had to literally throw out the metronome because it was driving me crazy.

Anyways, thanks for the positive reviews. I have to work on my demanding skills however so I can help the next band that comes through here with their sound before it gets on my hard drive.
