Default BASH as u can!

Hey ppl! This is an indian song so dont bother about the lyrics. Kindly give feedback about the song and any changes you suggest.
I'm planning on continuing the song in pretty much the same format as in the part i am uploading.
Thank you!
P.S: A special thnx 2 friends over at KMT for the strings sample(which i edited heavily!)

Ok, I've listened to this a couple times now. This is just my take on it, doesn't mean it's right.. The acoustic guitar needs to be thickened up with some eq..sounds real thin. to much effects on the vocals..over all there doesn't seem to be very much structure in the way it's arranged. Towards the end at 1:52 you have a nice melody, counter melody thing going on between the keyboards and vocals. Maybe use that as your song and build from there.. also if you could get the strings in stereo that would thicken up the sound a lot..

Right idea. I think if you take away some of the reverb it would sound tighter. Also your acoustic guitar is missing it's lower end. It's too brittle sounding. Your vocals need to come up front.

The vocals overload/distort at 0:14 secs and again at 0:30 secs ... maybe at other times as well.

I kept expecting/wanting some bass or kick drum to come in at some point ... something very tight and simple would do ... there is little to no bottom end.

Record the acoustic guitar again with a mic closer to the soundhole for more bass. Don't bother trying to eq bass into your existing track...it doesnt sound like there's any there. And yes far too much reverb at times. Good song though - thanks.

I liked it mostly quite a lot. I'm guessing if you just rolled off the top end, like 12dB/8ve starting about 6k, it would probably sound close to fabulous. I'm kinda feeling "dull monitors" on this and wouldn't make much in the way of wholesale changes until you have the monitoring situation better in-hand.
