Smile Bash my orchestra mix

This was a short piece I wrote for some TV cartoon opening, Ive lengthened the piece a little for more aesthetic appeal to just "listen to"

So.... what do you think? any ideas would be welcome, whether its about the composition of the piece itself or the mix

I don't really know what that stuff is supposed to sound like, but sounded pretty good to me. What did you use to make it?

Well i mixed everything in Sonar 7 PE. I used Reason 4 and East West Symphonic Gold Edition as virtual instruments and mixed them both in there, and recorded my friend playing a violin solo. thanks! anybody else?

WOW! This sounds amazing! Composition wise it's on the money. It's subtle and sweet yet still in your face. I love this. I think the mix sounds great too! Where can I get my hands on that East West Symphonic package?

That's really nice. I have tried to work up some background strings for a couple of songs but I just don't know how to get those great sounding chords, so it always sounds cheesy. But this stuff sounds really good. virtual instruments can do some amazing stuff, In the right hands.
