Default Bash away! (Cross post with Bash this Song)

So, I'm both an artist in the band and the recording engineer. I apologize for the cross post. If you already listened and commented in the Bands section, thank you. Sorry for the cross post.

The mix feels really good, but just needs a few tweaks

The snare is getting lost just a bit. I'd try cutting the low mids somewhere and boosting the upper mids more. I'd want more "crack". It may be a lower frequency. Maybe something in the 1-2K range. Play with it. Just make sure it has more crack and snare to it than it started out with.

There is noticeable distortion on the drums. If that's on purpose, leave it. If not, you may need to look into how you are compressing those drums. It sounds like it may be 2bus limiter or compressor that's being over worked. If that's the case, I'd hit the drum buss harder with compression so the 2bus doesn't have to work so hard.

Vocals are compressed very hard as well. This may be the same effect as the drums. Not sure. You may use slightly less compression unless you want that mega compressed sound, which is worth something. It may just be a level thing. You may be able to take the vocals down 1-1.5dB and still be in good shape.

Overall great job. You are close on this one.
