Another Song I've Been Working On

Here's another one I've been working on that I'd like to hear some feedback on

Again, no vocals yet, but the rest is done


EDIT: Actually, after realizing that this and my other song I posted on here sounded kinda thin, I realized that the headphones I use to edit with are really bassy (time to get new ones). So I EQ'd the song and hopefully it sounds better.

If you could, could you guys tell me if the first or second one sounds better? That way I can know if my editing headphones are bassy or if it's just that my PC headphones are NOT bassy lol. Thanks!

and strike three!!!! the first one's better. separate the guitars. sounds a little mono if your using a single track.retrack another guitar track for panning hard left/right just so there are two of em. pan HARD left on the first one and HARD right on the other one.. just a suggestion....

Ok, so I guess it's my PC headphones that aren't bassy lol. And yeah, I have them panned, but apparently not enough lol (like 20 and -20). I'll put them around 45ish and see how that sounds.

my opinion that rythem guitar at 55 seconds got too loud ya need to turn it down

Ok so I took your guys' advice and panned the 2 guitar tracks to 60 and -60 and lowered the main rhythm guitar 2 db's. I also EQ'd the lead guitar track a bit (raised the mids/low-mids a few db's) Thoughts?

the guitar at 22 seconds needs to come up at least 2 db and the lead in my opinion needs more seperation. Are you using 2 tracks on the lead or a mono track

1 mono track for the lead

here is what i would do double that track pan one hard left the other soft right eq the slightly different with the mid to left high to right then send them both to a stereo buss for further eq'ind then use a stereo widener on them and of coarse your taste in compression
