I really like this tune - very appealing... At the risk of sounding like a drunk punter yelling at the sound engineer during a gig, I'd say "Turn up the vocals!"... or at least even them out with some compression / limiting / automation. At some points in the song they are pretty much indecipherable, at others they are loud & clear - they are the focal point of the mix, so make sure they shine. Guitar sounds like it was recorded a bit too close to the mic & the initial "beat" of the strums is overpowering the sound a bit due to the proximity effect - HP filtering is the solution here - find a roll-off point where it gets rid of the "beat" but still retains some body in the guitar sound.

Nice tune! Reminds me of John Mayer. You have a pretty good voice, above average.

Laid-back acoustic tunes like this aren't exactly my forte, but one thing I would have liked to hear in this song is a bridge, where you change things up at some point. The verse-chorus-verse-chorus format can get monotonous. But maybe that's the effect you wanted (simple and repetitive), I don't know.

I like the placement of the vocals. The primary fingerstyle guitar however... the thunkiness of it walks on the vocals sometimes. All the time, it just sounds bad. Try again. Different mics, different placements. The room's good enough, though.

The rest (vocal, perc, general mixiness, whatnot) is really really really good. Oh, sloppy in the front end with the noise on the front tail into the piece.

Gee... by the title I thought it was going to be something else...

As said above, bring the vocals out front and move the guitar back a bit. It's knida cute with the minimal arragement, but you might want to consider a piano or something coming in halfway through -just my 2 cents.

This is a great suggestion and would improve the "production coefficient" about a 300%
