So by this you are complementing me for being able to sing on pitch without the help of the computer?

I guess you could say that. I'm saying that I was fine with the pitch in this particular performance for what it was. This song was played loosely and is a sparse arrangement anyway. I thought you did fine.

In a full band situation with a big arrangement, I'd look for more of the "right" kind of intensity on specific words, but this is a very good start.

It needs to be said that a person used to listening to the radio and had a decent ear would notice that your vocals are different. They are natural. This natural sounding vocal thing is getting to be a "weird" sound, unfortunately.

Nice song. A minute too long? Timing was a bit out (covered). Was there something missing? I dunno - a bit of percussion - I mean subtle stuff - not drums. Maybe even a single drum? One of those Irish folk drums. Might help with the timing. Would that spoil it?

Ultimately, you might need something to separate this from the plethora of singer-guitar songs out there. Beautiful voice though. I see that singing AND playing the guitar might be putting you out a bit - but I guess practice will perfect that.

While this, as you say, is a religious song, it didn't feel preachy - which is great.
