Boss Micro BR

Recently, I purchased a Boss Micro Br recorder. I know it isn't the most sophisticated recorder, but it does a nice job for an old guy like me. My only problem is that before I can get the files to my computer to do any editing, I have to mix the tracks down and convert them either into a MP3 file or a Wav file.
Does anyone else have one of these and is there any way around just mixing down?

Does this recorder use Flash cards? I've never used one of these gadgets, but a buddy of mine has a Boss BR recorder and we can import tracks into the computer from that.
