This is such a simple but beautiful song. I like to sit around and play it, but you do a much better job of it than I do. One question: do you go the the 7th after the first line? It may be there, but I'm not hearing it. When I play it in the key of A, I hit an A7 before starting the 2nd line of the song. I just couldn't hear it in your song. Well done. |

hey thanks so much for your response. I love the song too. I remember watching Robin Hood when I was very very young and as I tell people that moment was when I think I knew I loved the blues. Its a very sad scene, and song, but I could feel something beautiful in the sadness. Also I just tried it with the A7 as you say and you're definitely right. I learned the song from ear so I had missed that chords but it sounds much more accurate. thanks! |
