Audition 3 - izotope ozone 4

Hello, I'm wondering if anyone can help me regarding my problem!?.

I have started using Audition 3.0.1, and have installed ozone 4, when I have a song in the edit mode and then click effects, then VST for Ozone 4, Ozone loads up fine and I am able to click on just a preset and click at the bottom it will convert the song to the preset fine.

But if I start to play my song and move to various other presets and then try to click to convert the song Audition 3 freezes?

Can anybody advise me please, I have checked on YT for help videos but none show you what the final actions are to get the file converted.

Also I have downloaded the Izotope PDF file, it has 64 pages of explanation of all the good things within the package, but again no actual indication of the final steps.

I am brand new to this audio recording and editing field but am enjoying it, and it is turning into a hobby for me, but I am struggling.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Regards
