I must say that I was very impressed this morning when I check the recording forum to find that we had a Zombie "song". While it was more Zombie sound effects than anything, it shows that forum member, DT_Chris, has what it takes to grow as an engineer / music dude / whatever.

It's one thing for people to SAY they like recording, but it's a totally different thing for people to actually do it. While there are always going to be serious projects to work on, it's the people that take the time to work on ridiculous projects when the mood is right that are going to accell.
We should all think about how we spend our time. While a person would turn into a Revenge of The Nerd style hermit if they did nothing but record, we all could be having fun making Zombie songs and learning A TON in process.
So take the time to waste time on recording something ridiculous. The lessons learned can pay off huge and you could have fun in the process!
