You don't detail the sound card,THE single most important element in recording.As to XP
or Vista,XP is still easier to locate drivers for all software,& it seems the one you're more
familiar with.Keep in mind it is an obsolete system which will be history verysoon.Windows
7 is out in Beta already so I'm testing it without getting carried away,but so far I can see
what Vista would have been with more developement or a better run company.XP will be
unofficially supported better than Micro$oft ever did so don't let me put you off.XP!!!
