try playing around with a compressor on the vocals, not too much, a little goes a long way in my experience. also, when EQing try cutting the frequencies you dont like in the vocals instead of boosting the ones you do like. and definitly layer a few tracks of the vocals, some with just the key words. hope that helps -z-
