Well thats slightly higher spec than mine (I use a 2.4 macbook pro) and I have literally no noticeable latency whatsoever no matter what I do.
I can run a few different guitar rig 3's in logic, different in's and out's on high quality. 512 samples and its still, for all intensive purposes, latency free.
You should have no problems with a good interface setup right.
