Well, I'm still working on it (I probably always will be...), but I think I was fairly happy with the version that's on my band's myspace (check my sig). I'm pretty sure that it's the last version that I posted in
this thread if it's easier to listen from here.
That was quite a while ago though. Since then I've kinda started playing around with reverb plugins, but I haven't really mastered them yet. I've also gotten my speakers since then (with a sub) - at the time I was mixing purely on headphones, so I'm interested to see if my new system makes much of a difference. I haven't spent quite enough time working on them as of yet. Once I have though, I'll probably revisit any mixes I have done to see how they translate.
I'm sure if you take a quick look through any of my old posts, you'll figure out that I'm very slow at this recording business
I started recording my first song last may I think, and I've only got 3 even close to being finished and a 4th one that still needs some guitars recorded.
Then I gotta go back over them all to put on backing vocals and whatever other "polish" I feel the need to add...
Oh well, just gotta soldier on and try to make more time.
