Does the rack modules send midi when you call up programs?
What functionality are you trying to control with the rack?
They have programs in different locations so if you selected patch 538 on the roland and it sent a patch change out to the korg and it chose patch 538...
They organize their banks differently so you would probably get it calling up strange patches.
The usual method is to control a rack from your keyboard. My mo6 has performance mode where you can set it to send certain patches out to a rack when you choose a certain voice etc.
That way you would find out exactly what voice you want on the roland #538 and program that into the keyboard so when you hit voice #12 or whatever it would send out patch #538 and you would have the layer you want.
I don't know of Korg has something like that, probably does.
