I'm actually using the NS-10 studio editions, which "supposedly" have eliminated the need for that trick. (When Yamaha learned that's what people were doing with the original NS-10's, they reworked them into the studio editions to eliminate the need to do that.)
I'm still learning my way around them, but so far I like 'em. What are you currently using B? Just curious.
