It might vary from keyboard to keyboard but I suspect that a typical qwerty keyboard does not transmit multiple simultaneous pressed keys. If each key press was perhaps slight behind the previous one then you might be able to play something approximating chords but you'll probably be happier just asking your boss to buy you a midi keyboard for your work computer.
