Default Re: Problems with Lambda/Cubase LE4

There is no painless setup in this business. It's absolutely absurd inthis day and age, but these birthing pains are common to everyone.

HERE'S WhAT THE MANUAL SAYS.

C. SETTING UP CUBASE LE 4 FOR USE WITH THE LambdaSTUDIOTM
1. Take your Lexicon Lambda hardware out of the box and plug the power in.
2. Connect the included USB cable to your computer and to the Lambda Studio
TM.
3. Open Cubase LE 4, and go to
Devices>Device Setup as shown below.
4. Click
VST Multitrack and select Lexicon Lambda In/Out (2) as the ASIO Driver (as shown below). DO NOT select Lexicon Lambda In/Out (1).
5. Cubase LE 4 will now ask you if you would like to switch the driver. Select
Switch then OK.
You are now ready to start recording with Cubase LE 4.

I don't know why they offer an option In/out 1 if you aren't supposed to use it???

If you open a track in Cubase it should say at the top of the inspector what track you are using as an input.
So if you are using a mono input like guitar on channel two and you track is set up for channel one...nothing happens. If you click on that you should get a drop down list. You may have to engage the little monitor button on the Cubase track to see activity on the meter.
