Harmonizers can be a lot of fun on things other than vocals.
I love doing split harmonizer stunts like:
1. take a guitar whammy dive that's panned up the middle
2. run it to a stereo harmonizer with both channels panned up the middle
3. as the guitar dives in pitch automate the two harmonized parts out to the left and right.
You get a dive bomb that "blossoms" into a nice stereo spread. It actually works better if you use it on a slide or bend up.
