A sturdy Aluminium case and easy to adjust knobs on top, which I think is great.
As far as I can hear it sounds pretty good. Been recording 24bit 48kHz and vocals sound crystal clear.
Digital in works flawless. Very handy for recording synthesizers that have digital out (all the new ones)

Yes I would recommend to everybody starting to record. Cubase LE comes with it, and the MIDI interface is also handy.
