Onto the song.
Everything sounds well recorded to me. I can't pick faults in how any of the instruments
sound. It even sounds like a real piano. Nothing seems to clip and nothing is overly
compressed. The guitar tone is excellent it sounds like a nice guitar into a really nice valve amp.
The minimum for a tone like that would probably be a Les Paul Junior into a Peavey Classic, I'm guessing wildly but I'm really curious what your friend used. It's nice.
The playing is good and the performances blend well.
So in short this mix sounds good enough to me.
Unfortunately I don't know anyone who can sing the blues and can help finish the track.
