Yes, its a trigger device that works with drum vsti's.(or its own internal drum sounds).
Its very difficult to get it to play something simple, but with 'loads of time' it can be done. Ive wasted days on Jamstix, trying to get the perfect drum take. Its cool.

- You can drum 'jam' with an audio signal by using a pluggin called audiom8 (comes with jamstix)
- You can select through all existing styles and set up a custom freejam or use a built in sequencer to structure your drum track.!!!



Its amazing sounding, especially using BFD with it, but it is a time wasting and frustrating, since the built in sequencer is difficult to learn and many features need to be fixed and improved.

Its definetely buying, if you dont record drums, but need real sounding drums!
