Don't mean to upset you (or Takamine - or anyone) but have you considered an alternative brand?

Are you absolutely sure you like the sound of Takamines?

Personal thing of course, but I don't like 'em at all - neither do quite a few people I've spoken too.

Too shrill/trebly/tinny/jangly IMHO.

I'd strongly advise trying out as many guitar manufacturers as you can...
