OK, so I did further research and discovered Cubase's time warp feature. I was excited to hear about this, but when I looked it up how to use it in the instruction manual, the explanation was quite difficult to understand. Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that you must first play your song without using a click track, then construct a MIDI click track around your song to match the tempo changes. Doesn't that defeat the purpose of a click track in the first place? (seeing as how the click track i'll be constructing is based off an imperfect performance)

Is this "time wrapping" feature the solution to my problem? If there is an easier way, could someone please let me know?
