well i am wondering who plays a huge part of how you play your guitar style...

what makes you want to play like them or be like them and also where did you first get turned onto them?



myself i guess its gotta be Doc Watson, Jimmy Page (acoustic stuff for the most part) and of course Merl Travis.

i learned of Doc when i was a bunch younger and always loved the way he played with a flat pick, someone at a Blue Grass show gave me the tips i need to start playing like him, after that it was easy.

Jimmy Page was something that i heard all the time at work this summer and just fell into it, now i am learning some of hs style but making it my won as well.

Travis picking is just cool! he had a beat that i love the feel of and the sound is so easy going and smooth! ohhh i love it, it also makes the girls swoon and get all hot and bothered for some reason, lol we all love that i guess right?
