wouldn't you think that some of the better interfaces might have an option for routing the data from 2 pc's.... it would certainly be do-able.
Actually, looking at some of those on the page, you don't need an interface (just a decent soundcard to deal with the audio). The audio/midi data is transported via the LAN (Network) - so you should be fine as long as you can happily playback your DAW via your soundcard
