from what i hear, the drums and the guitar alternate being buried and muddy at different times. and you're definitely correct about the guitarist's amp being
all screwed up. sounds to me like the overheads are pretty muddy, even though rode nt5's should be just fine.

this seems like a good way to describe it. also, my monitors are no good but i'm barely hearing any bass. snare and toms aren't really loud enough as a general rule. however, the guitar levels on What Do You Crave sound pretty decent.

sounds to me like you've got a lot of potential. keep it up.
