 No Playback with Inspire 1394/cubase LE/ PC/Vista
G`day people,
I`ve just set up my Presonus 1394 inspire interface firewire with the cubase LE bundle on a pc with Vista 32 bit Home premium. I`ve got sound and sound meters reacting on the Cubase and Presonus panels. Its clearly recording. You can see the audio levels on the cubase reacting spontaneously to the guitar but it wont play back the recording. I`ve got speakers attached to the presonus. Also the guitar sounds don`t change with VST pluggins send effects...though you can see the `Value` icon reacting to the guitar strum on the DaTube for instance.( Yes I`ve dragged the effect level up or L to R so to speak). Is there something I should be doing with speaker configurations or output on my pc thats not so obvious....or obvious but I`ve just not seen wood cos a trees. I would be very grateful for any help.
