Re: Demonic possestion in the works
I know what you mean about using a click to record, it's a pain if you have a lot of time changes. I was just referring in general, you can hear the BPM sway slow to fast back to slow in the same part. example verse1. 120BPM verse2. 90BPM with in those parts the time is not constant. I hope I'm making sense. so for verse1 120BPM you may start at 120BPM then go to 130BPM down to 100BPM. My band has huge time changes with in our songs the way we practice and play on tour is.. we put clicks on an Ipod so for song A. our parts are 120bpm to 70bpm to 90bpm back to 120 bpm. then when we are playing the song our drummer is right on and tight as a drum (pun intended) it may be a big pain in the ass but it's worth it in the long run, it makes a huge!!! difference in tightness of the band. If you listen to old recordings of the same songs you would hardly recognize them as our new songs. Just because we were all over the place with holding steady. Long winded I know, but thats why we did so well in my opinion.
