Drum maps are a convenience, not a necessity. But they can screw things up. If you have it set u pas a drum track, try setting it back to a regular track, and see if it helps. You might find that your Oxygen 8 is transmitting in a different octave to what you thought. Try recording a part... do the notes appear in the track? Regardless of whether you can hear them, if its a regular track, you should see the notes appear. IF you can see them, but can't hear them, its probably either that the notes don't correspond to notes on the VI you're using since you know that the channel can actually communicate to the VI. If it never records them, then it is a communications problem between your keyboard and the track.
