Hey, its a good 2 cents, but I am pretty sure the Tascam does not have mix automation, which is something I really do want in my next recorder. I'm thinking about a pro-tools 003 if I go the computer route , but would rather have an AW4416 type recorder with good moterized faders. Ive had my fill of Akai quirkiness so I dont want a DPS24. A nice 16 track WITH mix automation and USB or firewire conectivity AND an intuitive user interface. I'm probably asking for too much.
