You've got a cool, dirty 70s vibe right off the bat.
I don't dig the tiny vocal sound. I thought it was just an intro thing. The vocals are down and it sounds like there isn't anything below 1k or so.
Get the vocals just slightly bigger (but with this same idea you had) and make them a quite a bit louder in the mix and you'll have a great sounding recording and a great song. I'm really impressed by the song!
