Default I'm like newborn new to recording, vocals helpwith what I have.
I have a Tascam DP-01, MXL 990, Behringer PS400 phantom power supply, Behringer 502 preamp mixer and my computer has Magix Music Studio 6. Given the gear that I have, can somebody give me any guidance on how to get better vocals. I record a track and export it to my comouter on Magix but the quality is different after I export. A little help please, I am active duty in the army so I don't get a whole lot of time to study engineering.
