thanks for your response. i was hoping to transfer my sequenced tracks from the yamaha to cubase for storage and editing purposes. it seemed logical that i should be able to accomplish that task using the general midi format. are you saying that my perception is wrong or that cubase le is not capable of meeting my needs?
