Re: Your Favorite Free Plugins?
I would love to find the be-all, end-all plug in package for vocal processing, including comps, verbs and pitch shifting/harmony generating/correction software.
I am struggling with a song that is too high for my voice. I lowered the key a step in Cubase - did the vocal and then brought it back up. The result was noticeably Chipmunk. I sounded like Geddy Lee, but not in a cool way. Of course I could just leave it down a key and record all my guitar parts in that key too, but I really notice when a song deviates from its original key, and depending on the song, I'm not always a fan. It really can alter the sonic character of the song.
