Wow. Good article. I must admit my simple mind never thought about results in stacked tracks. Good comparison though. I must really be missing something here though because I have listened to pre-amps for hours and not really picked up subtleties except between maybe one and 50 others that sound the same (to me). Either that, or one pre-amp is actually good and the others are crap (don't bash me for the vague adjective use, I'm lazy and you know what I mean).
