There's a couple of things to watch out for. First shipping - stores that sell with free shipping don't usually offer it cross the pond. In fact, very often they don't even offer it to Canada, and its the same damn piece of land!
Secondly, you'll have to pay customs duties and possibly a customs broking fee (which can be a lot from companies like FedEx.
For something like the KRK's - they're quite heavy, and not particularly expensive to start with... I would think you'd end up with getting them cheaper in the UK.
